Hydraulic excavators play a critical role in mining and construction operations, where high utilization leads to progressive component degradation and increased failure risk. This study aims to analyze the implementation of periodic service at the 1000 hours meter (HM) interval on the Komatsu PC210-10M0 hydraulic excavator. A case study approach was conducted at PT United Tractors, Tbk., Site Tuhup, through field observation and maintenance documentation. The results indicate that maintenance activities increase progressively across intervals, with 500 HM and 1000 HM contributing 47.83% and 39.13% of total activities, respectively. The 1000 HM interval is identified as a major preventive maintenance stage, dominated by fluid system servicing, component replacement, and comprehensive inspection. These activities play a significant role in controlling contamination, reducing wear, and maintaining system reliability. The findings highlight that effective maintenance performance depends on the integration of all intervals within a structured periodic maintenance system, ensuring operational efficiency and extending equipment service life.
