Socialization of Financial Management and Financing Access for MSME in Tegal City

Abstract

MSME in Tegal City lack a sufficient understanding of financial management principles. Furthermore, they face challenges in accessing financing. This prompted the community service team to conduct community service activities in the village. The activities took the form of outreach activities aimed at improving business owners' understanding of how to manage business finances and strategies for accessing financing. Fifteen participants attended the outreach activities. The methods used in this service activity were lectures and interactive discussions. The stages of the service activity included preparation and implementation. This activity had a positive impact on MSMEs in the city. MSME owners' knowledge of financial management and access to financing sources increased. MSME owners reported understanding how to manage business finances and strategies for accessing financing sources. This demonstrates that the community service activities carried out have made a positive contribution to business owners in Tegal City
