PENINGKATAN PENGETAHUAN IBU HAMIL DAN PELATIHAN SENAM HAMIL UNTUK MENURUNKAN NYERI PUNGGUNG PADA IBU HAMIL TRIMESTER III
Abstract
The third trimester of pregnancy often causes discomfort such as back pain. Pregnancy exercise is one form of physical activity that serves as an effective solution to reduce this back pain. However, limited knowledge has led pregnant women in Tondomulyo Village to not routinely practice these exercises. This community service activity aimed to improve knowledge and train pregnancy exercise skills to reduce back pain among third-trimester pregnant women in Tondomulyo Village. The implementation method used a participatory approach, including basic education using leaflets, direct training and simulation of pregnancy exercises, as well as mentoring and evaluation. The results showed that pregnant women participated with great enthusiasm. Their level of knowledge regarding the benefits of pregnancy exercise improved significantly. In addition, the participants were able to independently practice the exercises at home. After regularly performing the exercises, the mothers reported feeling more comfortable and experiencing a significant reduction in back pain.
