Factors that Affect Pregnant Women's Compliance in Attending ANC Checks at Dukuhturi Community Health Center

Abstract

Antenatal Care (ANC) is an important health service for pregnant women to detect pregnancy risks early and reduce maternal and infant mortality. However, compliance with ANC visits among pregnant women remains an issue in various regions, including at Dukuhturi Health Center at February-March 2026. ANC compliance is influenced by various factors such as knowledge and family support. Objective: To identify the factors that influence pregnant women's compliance with ANC check-ups at Dukuhturi Health Center. Method: This study was a quantitative study with a cross-sectional design. A total of 60 pregnant women were selected using purposive sampling. The independent variables included knowledge and family support, while the dependent variable was ANC compliance. Data analysis was performed using the Chi-Square test with α = 0.05. Results: Most pregnant women were compliant with ANC (61.7%). There was a significant relationship between knowledge and ANC compliance (p = 0.003) ) and family support with ANC compliance (p = 0.008). Conclusion: Knowledge and family support are significantly related to pregnant women's compliance in attending ANC at Dukuhturi Health Center.
